This terracotta salt pig is ideal for keeping on the side by the oven to add a pinch here and there whilst you are cooking! The terracotta look superb in either a traditional or contemporary kitchen.

A natural property of terracotta is its porosity and it is for this reason that the salt pig is unglazed. Any moisture is absorbed by the salt pig which keeps the salt dry. Salt scoop not included.
